Background
(The creation of this project started on October 1st 2023)
At the time of deciding to make this, I knew I had a story to play off my first project. Knowing it would dive into a more pink scenery, it would be more love/breakup songs
But as I’ve matured while working on this and had listened to Blond by Frank Ocean for the first time, it became a story more than just songs.
For me, it’s an exercise to expel some pain lingering from the past and a lack of self-love transformed into beats. For people, I hope it’s a conceptual experience, for the people who enjoy a feeling of the metaphysical Sonder we gather through music.
I failed my first year of college while creating this project. So I thought, why not just put all my attention onto music for once?
I plan to go back but since then, I've spent months in solitude and isolation; accepting a more honest opinion of myself, learning about the piano, tarot cards, crystals, driving and ultimately making this project.
There have been too many signs saying to me that I need to follow through on this project and my “atm” favorite professor spoke to me on being at a beginning of a tightrope.
In the same spot as Philippe petit’s first step.
So this whole album has been created through feeling, and methodically put together through the inner-workings of this brain I'm stuck with, that we wish to share.
It’s given me some sense of purpose, and I love what I’ve been creating lately.
